Heritage of WOMAN!

Coming off a very empowering and celebratory Women's month, a celebration of more things women ensued at this year's Marie Claire S.A. naked body event. The #Dearbodyexhibition, held at the stunning and intimate Berman Contemporary Gallery, was nothing short of inspirational and amazing. 15 Women in the media and entertainment industry, bravely posed naked, baring their naked truth and authenticity to the world with pride. 

Coupled with gorgeous jewellery from American Swiss and barely a touch up in sight, these photographs were exhibited for the night, with a short interview sesh over bites and champagne as we listened to the heartfelt liberation and bliss these ladies experienced baring it all for a good cause. 

I personally walked away from this feeling so much gratitude. Not only was this a reminder to live my truth and love my body as it is, but a big reminder to be authentically me, and know that it is absolutely enough, perhaps even more than enough. And if every young girl and woman walked through life with that much self love and conviction, it would then make sense why they say that the future is female, as there is no one in the world more POWERFUL than a woman with confidence!  

Kudos to Marie Claire S.A. on yet another inspirational edition of their Naked body series.
